The Funtastic World of Hanna Barbera was a motion simulator in Production Central. It opened with Universal Studios Florida on June 7, 1990.
History and closure[]
The Funtastic World of Hanna Barbera opened with Universal Studios Florida, and was among the most popular attractions there. In 2002, the park announced that Shrek 4D would replace Alfred Hitchcock: The Art of Making Movies. They also announced that Hanna Barbera would be demolished and would be replaced with Jimmy Neutron's Nicktoon Blast, also a motion simulator. That ride was also announced in 2002. Today, Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem stands in the building in Production Central.
